Andrew Mok is an animator and caricature artist from Toronto.
He has been drawing his whole life but didn’t decide to take his hobby to the next level until graduating from university with a completely unrelated degree. No matter! He promptly enrolled back in school, this time for animation. During a summer off in animation school he landed a job drawing caricatures at Canada’s Wonderland. He’s never looked back.
After graduating again, he ventured to Beijing, China where he worked as an animator in games and freelanced as an illustrator. His pieces have been published in several magazines including Time Out Hong Kong, Time Out Beijing, and China Economic Review.
Since returning to Canada he has worked in 3D and 2D TV productions, animating for shows like Oh No! It’s an Alien Invasion and Fresh Beat Band of Spies. After several years animating in television, he stepped into the video game industry and joined Ubisoft Toronto as a Cinematic Animator in 2015. Some recent titles he has helped ship include Far Cry Primal and For Honor. You can find his latest animation reel here.
While Andrew is a full-time animator, he has never let go of his love for caricature. He still frequents parties, weddings, and gatherings as a caricature artist.
